Tidbits

There's been so much going on and I just don't have the time to get it all down, but here's a small (and I'm sure incomplete) recap of what's been going on here.

  • I got a new camera and I'm so excited! Our CD-Rom is broken, so I cannot instantly download my pictures since I can't download the software, but I cannot wait for the day that I can!
  • Caleb lost 3 teeth in 3 consecutive days. He's got a mouth full of gaps and it is so cute.
  • Richie is gone for the weekend camping at a Men's Retreat with church. I hope he has a good time hanging out man-style and comes back refreshed.
  • I got 11 inches cut off my hair! I hope to post a picture. This will be my third time donating to Locks of Love, which I just love doing.
  • We were given two double strollers, one tandem and one side-by-side jogging stroller. Talk about lovin' it! :)
  • We also received some peaches that I juiced and made baby food from. I also put up tomatoes and apples this week. Not as much as I had ambitiously hoped at the beginning of the season, but yum!
  • Abigail rolled over for the first official time! She turned 3 months old yesterday, can you believe it? She is such a gem!
  • Busy trying to get ready for a week-long vacation coming up. Can't wait!
  • Started our "official" school year. We decided to do Adventure's In My Father's World this year from My Father's World. I hope to share more soon, but so far I'm lovin' it and I think Caleb likes it also.
  • Maintaining our focus on the Lord and His love and training our kids in His ways. The Lord has really been working on me about keeping a lifestyle of worship, doing everything as unto Him. Wiping noses and all. ;)

Have a great time! We did! Hope the weather is sunny and not too hot! Also check out Picasa.google.com for photo software. I haven't used a camera's CD again since I downloaded it! So, at least, it could be a temporary fix until you get up-and-running!

We are finishing up MFW K and will be moving on to first grade MFW in a few weeks. I just love it, and the kids do too!
