Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

September always feels like a new year is starting to me. Perhaps, it's because it's so close to my birthday. Or maybe because it's the beginning of the new school year. The Hebrew New Year will also begin soon. And now, after an encouraging word from the Lord this past Sunday, it feels that way even more so.
And I'll take it. A fresh start. Forgetting what's behind and pressing forward. Maintaining determination in pursuit of the Lord. Being steadfast and resolute, that I can stand in this world and declare that the Lord our God is good!
